Welcome to BANFF MADTOURS. By booking, purchasing, or joining any of our tours or services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued by BANFF MADTOURS. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time before a booking is confirmed. The lead traveler is responsible for ensuring that all booking details are accurate, including traveler names, contact information, pickup details, and selected ticket categories.

Waivers

A signed waiver is required for each traveler, including minors, and must be returned within 3 days of booking, unless a different deadline is stated. For travelers under 18 years of age, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Failure to submit the required waiver on time may affect participation in the tour.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance after booking. Travel insurance may help protect against unexpected cancellations, interruptions, delays, illness, accidents, weather-related changes, or other unforeseen events.

Pickup and Departure

Guests must arrive at the correct pickup location on time and be ready before the scheduled departure time. BANFF MADTOURS is not responsible for missed tours, shortened experiences, or additional costs caused by late arrival, failure to appear, incorrect pickup selection, or failure to respond to contact attempts.

Tour Changes

BANFF MADTOURS reserves the right to change, shorten, delay, substitute, or cancel any part of an itinerary when necessary due to weather, road conditions, traffic, attraction closures, safety concerns, operational needs, vehicle issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where possible, reasonable alternatives may be offered. However, specific stops, timing, views, and experiences cannot be guaranteed.

Weather and Unforeseen Events

Tours operate in a variety of weather conditions unless BANFF MADTOURS determines that changes or cancellation are necessary for safety or operational reasons. BANFF MADTOURS is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, wildfire, road closures, government actions, natural disasters, mechanical issues, or supplier interruptions.

Guest Conduct

All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward drivers, guides, staff, other travelers, and the public. BANFF MADTOURS reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest without refund if their behavior is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, unlawful, intoxicated, or negatively affects the experience of others.

Health and Participation

Guests are responsible for ensuring that a tour is suitable for their own health, mobility, and physical condition. Some tours may involve walking on uneven surfaces, stairs, gravel, snow, ice, or other natural terrain. Guests should inform BANFF MADTOURS in advance of any mobility concerns or special needs.

Minors

Minors must travel with and remain under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult unless otherwise agreed by BANFF MADTOURS in writing.

Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Shows

Cancellations, refunds, credits, and booking changes are subject to the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking. Guests who do not arrive on time at the correct pickup location, or who miss the tour for reasons not caused by BANFF MADTOURS, may be treated as a no-show and may not be entitled to a refund. If BANFF MADTOURS cancels a tour and no suitable alternative is offered, a refund or credit will be provided according to the applicable booking terms.

Third-Party Bookings

If you book through a third-party platform such as Viator, GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor, Bókun, or another reseller, that platform’s booking, payment, cancellation, and refund terms may also apply.

Liability

BANFF MADTOURS is not liable for loss, damage, injury, delay, inconvenience, missed connections, or additional expenses resulting from events beyond our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability related to a booking or tour is limited to the amount paid directly to BANFF MADTOURS for the affected service.

Photos and Videos

BANFF MADTOURS may take photos or videos during tours for promotional use unless a guest informs us in advance or at the time of the tour that they do not wish to appear.

Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
